아크앤북은 지점마다 그 위치에 따라 장소의 특성을 반영한 각기 다른 디자인으로 진행되었다. 장소의 특성을 반영하는 방법은 주로 입점 예정인 공간의 한 부분은 남겨둔 채로 그것과 어우러지게 디자인하는 것인데, 예를 들어 아크앤북 현대백화점 신촌점의 경우, 전에 콘서트 홀로 사용되던 공간을 서점으로 바꾸면서 무대는 그대로 살린 채 내부 디자인을 진행하는 방식이었다. 객석이 있던 위치에 서가를 배치하고, 중앙에는 이동식 매대를 배치하여 북 콘서트와 같은 행사가 열릴 경우, 매대는 이동시키고 의자를 배치하는 방법으로 공간 자체의 용도를 유지할 수 있도록 하였다. 아크앤북은 책이 주는 감동을 공간 내부에 그대로 펼칠 수 있도록 전 지점이 세심하게 디자인 되었고, 고객에게 깊은 인상을 남겨줄 수 있는 포토 스팟이나 재미 요소도 하나씩 심어두었다.
Each ARCNBOOK location has been designed uniquely to reflect the characteristics of its surroundings. This reflection of the site’s attributes typically involves integrating part of the existing space into the new design. For example, at the ARCNBOOK store in Hyundai Department Store Sinchon, the former concert hall was transformed into a bookstore while preserving the stage. Bookshelves were placed where the audience once sat, and a movable display was positioned in the center, allowing for events like book concerts where the display could be moved and chairs arranged as needed, thus maintaining the original function of the space.
