일본의 마켓 브랜드 이온몰의 말레이시아 분점으로 푸총 지역의 아이오아이 몰 1층에 입점하였다. 홈 패션부터 의류, 키즈존까지 다양한 매장이 입점해 있으며, 가족 단위의 고객이 편안하고 재미있게 시간을 보낼 수 있도록 내부 공간 디자인을 진행하였다. 공간 디자인 상의 주요 디자인 요소는 목재 질감의 살대와 레이어 구성으로, 편안하면서도 재미있는 효과를 연출하기 위해 내부 기둥 및 벽면에 다양한 방식으로 적용되었다. 또한 천정의 형태에도 선적인 디자인 요소를 추가하여 격자 무늬 또는 사선 무늬의 루버 디자인과 조명디자인을 진행하였다. 출입구와 엘리베이터, 에스컬레이터 홀, 그리고 복도로 구성된 공용부는 내추럴하면서도 심심하지 않은 요소들을 가미하여 재미를 더하였고, 매장 별 디자인은 단순히 통일된 방식이 아닌, 매장별 특성을 살려 각각 다르게 디자인 하였다. 매장의 특성을 모두 반영하되, 무려 13가지의 브랜드로 구성되어 있기 때문에 전체적인 통일성을 위해 전반적으로 통일된 디자인에서 마감재만 변경하는 방식으로 진행되었으며, 이온몰이 주로 보여주고자 하는 스포츠 매장과 여행 물품 매장만 젊은 층의 고객을 끌어들일 수 있도록 차별화하여 디자인하였다.
Aeon Mall, a renowned Japanese market brand, has opened a branch in Malaysia on the first floor of IOI Mall in Puchong. This branch includes a variety of stores ranging from home fashion to clothing and a kids’ zone, designed to ensure that families can spend their time comfortably and enjoyably. The key design elements in the interior design are wooden textures and layered compositions, applied in various ways to columns and walls to create a cozy yet engaging effect. Linear design elements are also added to the ceiling, featuring grid or diagonal louver designs along with lighting design. The common areas, consisting of entrances, elevators, escalator halls, and corridors, incorporate natural yet interesting elements to add a touch of fun. Each store’s design reflects its unique characteristics rather than adhering to a uniform style. While all stores maintain a cohesive design, they differ in finishes to highlight their individual brands.
