도쿄 기반 피자 브랜드의 말레이시아 진출을 위한 공간으로, 브랜드가 가진 독창적인 에너지와 새로운 문화적 경험을 공간적으로 전달하는 방향에서 출발하였다. 디자인 컨셉인 ‘Approach to Another Dimension’은 일상적인 식음 공간에서 벗어나 새로운 감각과 분위기를 경험하게 하는 것에 초점을 두고 있으며, 전체 공간은 강렬한 오렌지 톤을 중심으로 구성하여 브랜드 특유의 대담하고 인상적인 이미지를 강조하고자 하였다. 또한 곡선과 직선, 다양한 소재와 조명의 조합을 조화롭게 연결하여 공간 전체에 리듬감과 입체감을 형성하였으며, 디자인 키워드인 “Impressive Chic”에 맞추어 세련되면서도 감각적인 분위기를 연출하고자 하였다. 과감한 컬러 사용과 볼드한 형태감은 브랜드의 개성을 직관적으로 드러내는 동시에, 서로 다른 요소들이 자연스럽게 어우러질 수 있도록 균형감을 중요하게 고려하였다. 전체적으로는 단순한 피자 레스토랑이 아니라, 새로운 문화와 감각을 경험하는 하나의 상징적인 공간으로 완성하는 것을 목표로 디자인을 진행하였다.
This project was developed as part of the Malaysian expansion of a Tokyo-based pizza brand, with the intention of spatially expressing the brand’s distinctive energy and sense of cultural experience. The design concept, “Approach to Another Dimension,” focuses on creating an environment that feels beyond the ordinary dining experience, allowing guests to immerse themselves in a new atmosphere and sensory experience. The overall interior was built around bold orange tones to emphasize the brand’s striking and energetic identity, while a harmonious combination of curves and straight lines, materials, and lighting elements was used to create rhythm and spatial depth throughout the space. In line with the design keyword “Impressive Chic,” the interior was designed to feel both sophisticated and visually impactful at the same time. Bold colors and expressive forms were carefully balanced to ensure that the various design elements coexist naturally while still maintaining a strong visual identity. Ultimately, the project aimed to create not simply a pizza restaurant, but a symbolic destination where guests can experience a new culture, atmosphere, and dimension of dining.
