스카이99 레스토랑 리뉴얼은 기존 공간이 가지고 있는 상징적인 바다 전망을 강조하기보다, 다이닝 경험 자체의 밀도와 분위기를 더욱 섬세하게 완성하는 방향에서 출발하였다. 전체 공간은 깊이감 있는 네이비 컬러를 중심으로 정리하여 차분하면서도 고급스러운 분위기를 형성하였으며, 수직적인 패턴의 벽체 디자인과 길게 이어지는 간접조명을 통해 공간에 리듬감과 깊이감을 더하고자 하였다. 가구 또한 부드러운 곡선 형태와 밝은 톤의 패브릭 소재를 사용하여 무게감 있는 공간 속에서도 편안하고 세련된 인상을 느낄 수 있도록 계획하였으며, 골드 계열의 조명과 디테일 요소를 포인트로 적용하여 프렌치 다이닝 특유의 우아한 분위기를 강조하였다. 또한 과도한 장식 요소는 배제하고 소재와 조명의 균형, 좌석 간의 여유로운 배치, 그리고 정제된 비례감을 통해 조용한 럭셔리의 이미지를 구현하고자 하였다. 전체적으로는 음식과 서비스, 공간의 분위기, 그리고 창밖의 풍경이 자연스럽게 어우러지며 하나의 완성된 미식 경험으로 이어질 수 있는 프렌치 다이닝 공간을 목표로 디자인을 진행하였다.
The renewal of Sky 99 Restaurant began with the intention of refining the dining experience itself, rather than simply emphasizing the iconic ocean view the space already possesses. The overall interior was organized around deep navy tones to create a calm yet sophisticated atmosphere, while vertically patterned wall finishes and continuous indirect lighting were used to add rhythm and depth throughout the space. Soft curved furniture forms and bright fabric materials were carefully selected to balance the weight of the darker interior, allowing the space to feel both elegant and comfortable at the same time. Gold-toned lighting and refined detailing were also introduced as subtle accents to reinforce the graceful atmosphere characteristic of French dining. Rather than relying on excessive decorative elements, the design focused on the balance of materials and lighting, generous seating layouts, and carefully controlled proportions to express a sense of quiet luxury. Ultimately, the space was designed to create a complete gastronomic experience where cuisine, service, atmosphere, and the surrounding view naturally come together as one seamless scene.
